You are here: Home / Blog / Can We Create Healthy Online Civic Spaces?
Be sure to RSVP quickly!

Once we reach our 35- person capacity there will be a waiting list!

iMedia Associates are at the San Francisco Bay Technology Salon at 0830-1000PDT/1530-1700BST on 27 September and will be contributing ideas on how to create healthy civic spaces online around the world covering questions such as:

What approaches, such as pre-bunking and debunking are effective at stemming myths and misinformation?

How can we design more productive online civic spaces?

How does generative AI contribute to the health or disease of an online space?

What is the role of civil society in stopping myths and mis- and disinformation?

What are some community-based resources to help digital activists learn and become more resilient?

What systems need to be put in place to improve the feedback loop between local communities and civil society organizations, and social media and other tech platforms?

We’ll have coffee and breakfast treats for a morning rush, but seating is limited to ensure an intimate discussion. Be sure to RSVP quickly. Once we reach our 35- person capacity there will be a waiting list!
